100% USA Homegrown and Manufactured Our basic "joint ribbon" (we fancy the term) is far from ordinary and the perfect complement to compounds aiding to create the finished product. Dura-Tape International's Spark-Perforated Joint Ribbon has a fine suede quality, which we produce by sanding each roll to a fine nap, thereby insuring the best adhesion possible regardless of the compound used. Each roll is spark-perforated side-to-side its entire length. This process helps prevent blistering, bubbling or cracking associated with most joint tapes. The spark-perforated tape allows compound to completely permeate the paper, promoting even air drying for a quicker set time, the tape has a center margin for enhanced accuracy by the user; producing a smooth even finish.
