Our “joint ribbon” (I fancy the term) is far from ordinary
it is the perfect compliment to the compounds used to hang wallboard,
thereby creating a perfect finished product.
Dura Tape Spark-Perforated Joint Ribbon has a fine suede quality that
we produce by sanding each roll to a fine nap, thereby insuring the best
adhesion regardless of the compound used. Dura Tape International certifies
ASTM C 475 specifications.
Each roll of Dura Tape Spark-Perforated Joint Ribbon is spark-perforated
side-to-side within its entire length. This process helps prevent blistering,
bubbling or cracking, ever! The spark-perforated tape goes up quickly.
The compound does not diminish the ribbon’s wet strength during
interaction there is a blended permeation of the paper. This promotes
even air-drying for a quick set time, while producing a smooth undetectable
finish even through the lightest of skim coatings;
In addition, the entire length of each roll of Dura Tape Spark-Perforated
Joint Ribbon has a center margin for enhanced accuracy by the user. Each
roll is exactly 2 1/16” wide and within an inch or two of the length
specified on the label, unlike our competitors whose rolls are often
more than several feet short.

nor bubble; this quality scrim has remarkable consistency a product of
its leno weave coupled with our special adhesive geared to perform in
all climates especially in areas of high heat and humidity.
